Benchy and Grace try to put 110% into everything they put their hearts into. Benchy, a lifelong entrepreneur starting around the age of 5, started the scrap metal recycling back in 2007. Back then it was a very lucrative business. He could afford to pay people to come into their yard and haul away their "junk". Everyone was happy. Grace would help drive trucks loaded with stacks of scrap cars on her days off to help out. When the scrap market hit the bottom, they knew they would have to find other services to offer the community that would be a little more stable. They already had a few pieces of machinery so Benchy started taking on tractor work. Starting with digging holes and ditches, their excavation business grew into something bigger than many imagined it would. With almost a full line of excavation equipment they are able to handle anything that is thrown their way.
In 2014, with Grace fully invested in joining in the family business full time, they bought the property off Highway 191 that is their business location today. In 2015, they finally got their waste business fired up! They started with friends, family, and a few local businesses and now they are servicing all of the Sulphur Springs Valley with plans to move into Douglas, Hereford, Sierra Vista, and beyond.
